Areas of application for our access systems

Doors

Whether main entrance doors, office doors, intermediate doors, wired or wireless via radio, with or without alarm system control - our access system is suitable for almost all doors in the company.

Gates

You can equip sliding gates, folding gates, hinged gates, roller shutters, hall gates as well as the gate to the driveway with the access system. Our access control system is also suitable for almost any electric gate.

Barriers

The access control of barriers with loops is just as much a part of our portfolio as barriers with a barrier arm of up to 10 meters.

Turnstiles / turnstiles

Our portfolio also includes pedestrian barriers such as turnstiles, turnstiles and swing gates for people in wheelchairs or on bicycles - including the appropriate access control, of course.

Server cabinets

Make your server cabinets just as access-secure as the entire server room. In cooperation with our partners, we also offer you RFID access solutions directly for server cabinets.

Overview of the functions of our access system with fingerprint and chip

Building plans

In a building plan, you first create the doors, gates and passages you need. Clearly categorized by location, building, level and room, there are no limits when creating access systems - for example with fingerprint or chip.

It is also possible to create several building plans in order to have an even better overview or to make a strict separation, as well as to rename all objects.

Access plans and access groups

Create access plans that you assign to staff, members or visitors. In an access plan, you can then activate the doors for which access authorization is to take effect with just a few mouse clicks. People who are assigned this access plan will not be granted access to any deactivated doors.

Unlike the access plan, you can store up to eight access groups per person. Access plans should therefore contain a general access regulation, while access groups apply in addition to the access plans for special regulations.

Example:
You have the "Employees" access plan. The "Main entrance" and "Entrance" doors are stored and activated in this plan. All employees receive this plan. Now these employees include those from the IT or EDP department who also need access to the server room. However, this server room is not stored in the "Employees" access plan because not every employee is allowed to enter it. In this case, you can now assign the "Server room" access group to the people from IT or EDP so that these people also have access to the "Server room" in addition to the "Employees" access plan.

Access profiles

Access profiles map time-controlled access. In an access profile, you define from when to when the person should have access, for example from 07:00 to 19:00. Access is denied outside of this time frame.

Access profiles can be stored for each door and assigned to an access calendar. You are therefore free to map all conceivable cases here.

Access calendar

In an access calendar, you either store an individual access profile for each day or assign the access profiles to the calendar according to a pattern.

For example, you can choose to store the access profile "07:00 to 19:00" from Monday to Friday, the access profile "09:00 - 13:00" on Saturday and completely deny access on Sunday.

You can also set in the access calendar whether the stored access profile should apply on public holidays or whether no access is permitted on public holidays.

Visitors and guests

The visitor management function of our access system allows you to register visitors in advance from any workstation and record their most important data and estimated time of arrival.

This gives your reception area the opportunity to access this data directly when the visitor arrives and to issue a visitor badge even faster.

A contact person and, if applicable, an identification number can be stored with the visitor, as well as a time from which the visitor pass loses its validity.

Visitors receive a separate access plan and can therefore only move around in the rooms that are stored in the access plan.

Visitor access times are automatically documented in the software and can be evaluated at any time. You can also make corrections if a visitor has forgotten to sign out.

Gate monitor

The Gate Monitor is intended for the reception area and provides access to the most important functions relating to visitor access: from creating visitors to assigning a visitor plan and printing a badge. In addition, the status of a door can be viewed or opened remotely.

Attendance check

The presence check allows you to see in real time who is currently in the building or who is marked as "absent".

Please note that this functionality is not compatible with all hardware and requires an output reader.

Door open alarm

If supported by the door or gate, you can also use our access system to see which doors are open. The actuality of this view depends on the door sensors used and the access hardware.

Set a minimum duration that a door must be open before it is even displayed as open. Optionally, you can also receive an e-mail notification about the door status.

Remote opening

With just a few mouse clicks, you can open doors directly from our software. Together with our authorization profiles, you can allow selected people to use this functionality.

Scalable

The access control system can be expanded at any time. Regardless of whether you want to connect additional doors or gates or a new hall also needs to be secured with access, we are always at your side and will be happy to help you with this implementation.

Access system with fingerprint, RFID chip or PIN code

We offer you access systems that work with fingerprint, RFID chip technology or PIN code. These individual access control methods can be combined with each other to achieve two-factor authentication, or 2FA for short. This applies to both indoor and outdoor areas and both wired and wireless. Take a look at our hardware section or contact us directly. We will be happy to advise you on our access systems with fingerprint, RFID chip and PIN code.

The software works with Mifare Classic, Mifare Plus, Mifare DESFire, Legic Advant, Legic Prime, Unique EM4102/4200, Hitaq1/2/S, ISO tags, Nedap, SimonsVoss, ETSI, HID and many more. In most cases, you can continue to use your existing RFID transponders with our system. We will be happy to check the compatibility of your RFID transponders/cards for you.

Permanent

You can store a so-called "permanently open profile" for each door. For example, you can leave the main entrance door or the gate to the driveway permanently open during normal business hours from 08:00 to 17:00 without requiring authentication for access.

You can also enter different times per day so that the gate to the entrance is not open at the weekend, for example.

Anti-passback

With the anti-passback function, you can ensure that RFID chips, PIN codes or, simply put, people cannot re-enter an area via the access system until they have left it properly. Anti-passback is therefore often used in sensitive areas and prevents an RFID card or transponder from being passed on.

If a person enters the area secured with anti-passback, their RFID card or transponder is blocked from re-entering this area until they have logged out at the area's exit reader. Only then will the RFID transponder be granted access to the anti-passback area again.

Alarm system (EMA and BMA)

Depending on the hardware and alarm system, we support the connection of intruder alarm systems (IAS) and fire alarm systems (FAS).

For example, some RFID transponders can be authorized to arm and disarm an IDS or fire alarm system. This is only possible at certain RFID readers or additionally with a PIN.

Radio technology

In addition to wired access systems with fingerprint, RFID chip and PIN readers, we also offer wireless solutions. This saves you the costly conversion of doors and laying of cables.

Import and export interface

Import projects and activities, as well as the target time for the activities, directly from an existing system. Export projects, activities and the hours worked on them in the same way so that you can also process them in an existing system. We are happy to expand our interfaces to meet your individual requirements.

Evaluations and lists

If activated, access bookings are documented and can be evaluated retrospectively. Filter functions according to door, level, building or location as well as time range are just as possible with the access system as the separation according to staff, visitors and members.

Multi-client capable

Krutec WEB access control allows you to keep your companies strictly separate from each other using clients. Each client has its own access and its own data. At no time is data from the other client visible.
